my husband has custody of his 2 kids but every 1st 3rd and 5th weekend they go to their mothers house. but when they leave with her she just leaves them at her moms house for the weekend.. is there anythin we can do since she is not takin care of them or spending the time with them?

If the children are not spending time with their mother and are being 'warehoused' with grandparents, then it seems appropriate to return to court to modify the existing parenting plan.
Parents are completely entitled to share their custodial time with other family members who would not otherwise get to see the children. As Ms. Kock says, however, if the children are merely being warehoused every single weekend, a court may consider cutting back on the mother's custodial time.
