Legal Question in Family Law in California

my husband has paid pure alimony for 15 years to his ex, her mother dies, leaving an estate/home worth close to 3million, the home is in a accountants name now,and she is forcing us to continue to pay alimony, can we get access to the trust to take her back to court or should we just stop paying her?it us a family trust

You need to file a motion to modify the support. When that is done you can make a discovery demand to obtain the information that you need. To terminate or reduce support this is the procedure that you must use. I strongly suggest that you retain an attorney. I have handled 3 appeals on spousal support issues in the last 2 years and they are complex and you will need to have legal memo prepared for the court.
