Legal Question in Family Law in California

my husband is paying child support for his son and has court ordered supervised visitations by his son's mom, At the time, his son was in daycare while his mom was in school full-time and had no job. My husband was ordered to pay $412.50 a month based on the fact that he had no custody and his son's mom didn't have a job. She is allowing his son to spend more time with us and even allows him to spend the night, without the courts awareness. How do we go about getting his child support lowered now that his son's pending more time with us and his mom has a job and is no longer going to school?

You file an Order to Show Cause for modification of custody schedule and support. The sooner you do it the better, because changes are only retroactive to the date of filing the motion.
