Legal Question in Family Law in California

My husband and I both signed the papers for joint summary dissolution. I am listed as the respondent. Would I be able to file with my court even though he is the petitioner?

What do you mean your court? A joint petition for summary dissolution is one case, that is filed in the appropriate court that has jurisdiction and venue over the matter. You don't file a separate dissolution proceeding somewhere else.
