Legal Question in Family Law in California

Husbands responsibility for child concieved by another man

A friend was told by wife she wanted a divorce, during divorce proceedings nothing was said regarding her being pregnant. He is prsently paying child support for his two childred by that marriage. Once divorce was in progress the ex-husband found out that his ex-wife was pregnant while still married but child was fathered by another man. My question is, is the ex-husband responsible for child support for this child because it was concieved while still married, even though the father is another man and this other man's name is on the birth certificate?

Your friend...is not responsible for this child. If question of paternity, should take test. Doesn't matter that child conceived during marriage.
