Legal Question in Family Law in California

I have a judge that is addiing all the money I have recently received from my family into my income to determine my new income to determine a new child support amount. I already had a lawyer tell me this should not be allowed. It goes against a law. I need to know where I can find this info out to take to court with me.

You really should have a lawyer, rather than someone constantly trying to spoon feed you to represent yourself.
