Is it possible to have a judge disqualified from your case if you think she impartial? 2nd question- how long can a judge continue an ex-parte after respondent submits his response?

You can't get a judge disqualified from your case if you think she is impartial. "Impartial" means that the judge is treating everyone equally and fairly.

There are a processes to have a judge disqualified if you think they are "partial." If you are interested, I suggest you read and research Code of Civil Procedure sections 170.3 and 170.6.

The answer to the second question would depend on what the ex parte was for and how long and why it was continued.
