You need to start by filing the petition for dissolution. Then you need to serve the petition. If the other side does not respond you can file a request for default. You can then file a default judgment.

If you have already done these things and the opposing side responded to the petition then what you need to do is file an "at issue memorandum." This is usually a form informing the court you are ready to go to trial. At this point the court will set a hearing for a trial setting conference. Most of the time, the court will set the matter for a mandatory settlement conference and then trial. If you settle, you can enter a stipulated judgment expressing the terms of your agreement with the opposing side. If the matter is set for trial the judge will make rulings and thereafter you can enter the judgment based on the court's rulings.

Best of Luck.
