should there be some kind of written agreement between the two parties when an child support settlement has been agreed upon before it is presented to the court,so that no one can change the terms of such verbal agreement?

It’s always an excellent idea to be in charge of your parenting relationship and to have whatever the agreement is reduced to writing. Keep in mind that the agreement is only enforceable when it becomes a court order.
