Legal Question in Family Law in California

I'll try to make this as short and to the point as I can. Brother got married in 2004, wife divorces him 4 yrs. later and takes him for everything incl. half his retirement.Divorce final in 2009. Brother dies in 2012. Family finds out brothers ex-wife was still married when they married. Ex-wife received IRA since death, and is trying to get the rest of his retirement. Brother's marriage wasn't valid to begin with. She ended up with tens of thousands of dollars from brother after hiding money in several accts. plus retirement,stocks,bonds,401k, etc. since death. Can family bring this to employers/courts attention to stop any more from going to her because she was never legally his wife? Her divorce from ex was in same court and wasn't final till late 2005. Is there anything family can do on brother's behalf to stop her from getting more? They both worked for same employer. Any help is appreciated. btw her ex was not presumed dead, he lived a few blocks away.

You need to get into court immediately and get temporary orders freezing the accounts and then go from there.
