I want my marriage to end on the last day of this year how do I do this?

Mr. Laurie asks a very important clarification question. I would also add that it would now be virtually impossible to obtain a final judgment of dissolution of marriage by December 31 this year, since there is a statutory six-months hold from when the respondent is served before a judgment can be entered. So you would only have a matter of days to get the case filed and served, and even then having everything done and moved through the court in time is extremely unlikely to occur.

You can't control when the judge is going to enter the judgment of dissolution.
