Legal Question in Family Law in California

I have been married 5 years I am leaving my husband because he has become over controlling about everything - I have to get reimbursed for any of my spending, but only if he agrees it is authorized. He treats me like his servant I do all the shopping, hauling the bags from the car, all the washing (dishes and clothes), all the house work, taking care of the kids, we have twins. He spends very little time with the kids unless I ask him to while I go shopping or run an errand.

He is emotionally abusive as he badgers me about every second I am away from the house other then work including doctors appointments or if I spend what he considers much time shopping. He thinks I have a problem mentally but it is just that I cannot stand to be around him anymore so I make excesses to be in another room or to go to bed.

He has changed some much I don't know him anymore. Please help - How can I leave him and have joint custody and be sure he or his parents will not try to take my kids away from me. Please Help

Meet with a skilled family law attorney in an office consultation to fully explore your legal options. You should file a device petition with a motion for child custody, child support and, if appropriate, spousal support.
