Motion to compel

I was awarded custody of my two childred, but at the end of the proceedings, my ex-wife's attorney filed a MOTION FOR COMPEL RESPONSE TO DISCOVERY & IMPOSE MONETARY SAN.

Can you please tell me what this means?

It depends on what the motion states. Generally, a motion to compel responses to discovery is made against a party that does not timely answer or does not fully answer/respond to discovery. A request for monetary sanctions is a request for a money penalty (in this case, apparently paid from you to her). If your ex-wife has an attorney, you should probably retain an attorney too.
