Legal Question in Family Law in California

I am going through a very nasty child custody divorce. The other side has money and has worn me down for two years. My attorney is trying to leave me do to money issues. I will have him paid in a month. Can he just leave to the wolves like this.

Attorney's have ethical duties which many times are not as straight forward as Mr. Schneider's answer seems to indicate. You need to tell your attorney that you will be able to pay his bill next month, if this is not acceptable, the attorney must file a motion to withdraw, at which time you may object.
