Legal Question in Family Law in California

I am non custodial parent , paying support. During the summer, we share week to week.

During my weeks, kids go to ycamp so I can work. My ex refuses to pay 1/2 of camp fees cause she says she did not agree to it. If she is responsible for half, how can I enforce. She did this last summer too.

This should have been covered in you custody and support order or judgment. If it was not and you cannot agree, you have to file an OSC to modify the order to deal with who pays what.

The general rule of law is, WHEN ORDERED, each party is to pay 1/2 of work related child care costs. The question is rather or not this is in fact day care just used to cover you while working, or, is it "camp" with overnights and the such. If no order for half of "day care" costs to be shared, then as Mr. McCormick says, you will need to file a Request for Orders (effective July 1, replacing OSC) to have the court order that 1/2 of "day care" costs be equally shared. Good luck!
