Legal Question in Family Law in California

third party and children in negative home environment

i am witness to a family going crazy. parents are arguing 24-7 and hitting each other at times.

the 2 young children involved are being negatively influenced by this and it is evident in their behavior.

suffice to say divorce is not an option, and marriage counseling between the two has already been tried with no good results.

is there a way for a third party to get involved legally, for example...taking custody of the children?

i know this sounds strange, but it is incredibly unfair for the children to be subject to this, and I am trying to find a way to help them legally.

Re: third party and children in negative home environment

Call cps and report the situation of the children. Any voluntary situation can be easily be undone. Such conduct would place the children in more danger.
