Should any party in a divorce proceeding sign any forms stating they do not contest the divorce?

It depends on whether they are contesting what is asked for in the divorce, such as support, custody and visitation, classification and division of property, etc. If you think it means, you do not mind being divorced, I would be extremely cautious with that assumption. It means you are consenting to everything the other party is asking for.
