After QDRO... 25 year marriage...when I receive what I am entitled to from ex's 401K, do I have to pay tax on any money I recieve from it? Will I be able to get cash from it and put the rest in account of my choice?? My attorney wont explain the process...thankyou for any help!!

If you take the money out right and you're not at an age where this is permitted , you would be faced with an early withdrawal penalty.
