Legal Question in Family Law in California

I received a notice to appear in court for a Trial Setting Conference in regard to my divorce with child custody. My husband has an attorney, but I will be self-represented due to finances. Am I required to have any statement, legal form(s), or documentation prepared for this meeting? It will be handled in an Orange County court of California.

You need to find an attorney. If your husband can afford one, there is a fairly good chance you can get an order that he pay or at least subsidize your attorneys fees. Family law courts do not like only one side to be represented by a lawyer and can usually find ways to make it possible for both sides to pay the fees if either side can.
