Legal Question in Family Law in California

Me and my ex recently went to court to have our custody changed to 50/50. Our kids (8 and 14) also want this change. All of us, including the kids, went to mediation. The mediators report recommends the 50/50 custody change. We go back to court in a few days to get the order, she has recently retained an attorney. Im worried the attorney will fight to not have the custody arrangement 50/50. If the mediator has already made their recommendations can retaining an attorney reverse the recommendation?

There is no guarantee the court will follow the recommendation. I urge you to secure your own experienced family law attorney so your legal rights are protected.
