Legal Question in Family Law in California

Recently, my wife and I filed for legal separation. We settled and agreed and recorded in court, child custody issues, child support issues, alimony issues, and separation of assets.

Now we want to file for dissolution of the marriage. We have been in agreement with everything from the start.

What do we need to do and file for the dissolution? We were told that we do not have to file all the previous forms.

You should be able to stipulate to amend to seek dissolution, rather than separation, assuming that you meet the residency requirements.
