what happens if i recieve a family law trial setting from my ex girlfriend for my daughter, let me say, my daughter has never met her mom, she is 4 yrs old, her mother and i had a argument and led her to hold a knife in one hand and my daughter in the other, is it possible that she can get custody of my daughter?

Yes, she will get some visitation or custody with the child. How much depends on whether the court makes a finding of domestic violence. What the best interests of the child are etc. Whether the court does that or not depends on prior events such as restraining orders, arrests etc. Don't put too much faith in just going to court and telling your side of the story. People always forget that the other side is going to tell their story also - and it is hardly ever to agree that the other sides version is correct.
