Legal Question in Family Law in California

I am representing myself in the modification of child and spousal support case that my EX has filed. We've already had few hearings that were continued. In the last hearing I lodged with court my trial brief and Exhibits. Our next hearing is in about two weeks. I have more evidence to give to court as Exhibits. Should I serve the other party, and file with court the new Exhibits before the hearing or on the day of hearing? Thank you
