Legal Question in Family Law in California

I am researching for my daughter because she is unable. My daughter husband sent her an email last week advising he is getting a divorce and he is removing her from his insurance in a month and he advises her to get her own. He was laid of from his VP job but now has COBRA. She suffers from Lupus and drives for Uber. He made over 350,000 per year. By law is he allowed to remove her. She can't afford an attorney what is her next step.

More information is required to determine why your daughters husband was laid off from work. If it was due to something earlier on his part, the court could take steps to require that he maintain insurance for both himself and your daughter. With that being said, your daughter needs immediate assistance of an experienced family law attorney to proceed in court to get protective orders and a request for insurance from her husband.
