Legal Question in Family Law in California

Restraining order requirements

My husband's ex-wife is harrassing us with telephone calls and messages via the telephone and emails. They have been divorced for ten years and she has been upsetting our privacy for quite some time now. I need to issue a restraining order on her to stop this. She resides in the state of CA and we live in ME. Do I pursue this with the Attorney General in the state we live, Maine, or do I need to go through CA? And where do I begin??

Thank you in advance for any assistance you can provide.

Re: Restraining order requirements

Contact the local authorities regarding this matter and if that does not solve the problem then contact an attorney near where she lives. This attorney can prepare a petition for a restraining order.
