what rights does a imigrant mom have when it comes to her children. Boyfriend mentally and emotionally abuse her ,threatens to take her child away if she leaves. He is resident in this country not a citizen.

The family courts do not discriminate against parents on the basis of immigration status, ethnicity, or national origin. You would have the same rights and duties as would a citizen with respect to litigating child custody and visitation matters.
