Legal Question in Family Law in California

after signing off custody rights, ex is harrassing school

my ex signed off his rights to see my kids in April. He's now harrassing my children's old school for addresses of where they are now. Is this a legal action? and can the school provide the information?

You should notify the school that the other parent no longer has any legal or physical custody of the child, and therefore has no rights in respect to the child.

The school cannot give him anything. They need to ask him to leave. If he refuses they should call the police.
