An abstract of support is a document that provides a summary of the support orders in a case to a court. They can be used for different reasons. However it could be that your sister has been awarded some type of support and she has not been getting paid. Your sister's attorney may want to file an abstract of support so that her ex's driving privileges are suspended in an effort to motivate him to start paying support. It is generally a document that contains a summary relating to the support order.
