Legal Question in Family Law in California
My son is suppose to be with his mother for christmas in UT but she is cutting her visitaion short and flying home to LA and haveing her sister drive him back home to CA. The visitation is suppose to occur from Dec. 18 to Jan 2nd. but she is flying home on the 26th back to LA. I was wondering if she can still dictate were my son spends his time even when he isn't in her physical custody.

Yes. On her custodial time she can make any arrangements she wishes for the child as long as they are not dangerous or otherwise legally inappropriate for the care and safety of the child.
