Legal Question in Family Law in California

I have submitted my divorce paperwork recently, but the 6 month separation period is not over yet (myself and my former spouse have been separated for 3+ years) What are the legal ramifications of getting remarried before the 6 months expires?

It's not six months of separation, it is six months from filing to final dissolution. Until you have a final judgment that says you are divorced as of "x" date, AND "x" date has passed, you are married. A new marriage would be void and you would be guilty of bigamy.
