how do i subpoena bank records for a divorce in california

If you are not an attorney, and don't have an attorney, you will have to have the court issue the subpoena to the bank. You will also have to give the other party the property consumer notice pursuant to Code of Civil Procedure section 1985.3. You may want to look at Code of Civil Procedure section 2020.020 subd. (b) and many of the sections in that area.
