Legal Question in Family Law in California

Term. Parental Rights

My husband and I would like to terminate our parental rights. My hubby had a brief lack of control and shook our daughter. My in-Laws have Temporary Custody of her but we haven't seen her in over a year. We feel that they should have full and complete guardianship of her and we just step out of the picture. They can financially and medically support her and don't really need us. What can we do legally?

Re: Term. Parental Rights

I you have not seen your child in more than a year it is very probable that the juvenile court has already terminated your parental rights.
