Legal Question in Family Law in California

ive been w/ my husband for 28 yrs. since age 15, my husband was 40, im now 44 and hes now 67, weve only been married for 7 1/2 yrs, he wants a divorce and to provide no support, i feel as though this constitutes a long term relationship. i guess im asking what you think.
