Legal Question in Family Law in California

My wife has a custody agreement with her ex boyfriend concerning their daughter. in it it states the father will provide health insurance. He let the insurance expire after about a year. He asked if we could add her to my insurance (I'm the step father) I checked with HR and I met the requirements so we added her. Three years has since passed and now he's demanding a copy of the heath card, which includes everyone's name and in order to use it at a doctor he would have to provide both my employer info and SS number. Now I don't want to give him access to that type of info. The court order says nothing about insurance cards between him and my wife, we know cause when we asked him for a copy he said he didn't have to give us one and our lawyer said it's not in the agreement so he does not have to. Now the agreement says nothing about me having to provide health care or giving him a card. what can he do, and am I going against the cort order by providing insurance. The order didn't say I couldn't, just that he was suppose to.

thanks,

gene

Without a court order, you have no obligation to provide him with anything, except maybe a bill for whatever additional employee contribution you have due to adding the child to your insurance.
