Legal Question in Family Law in California

If my wife has moved out to a new home with the children and moved most of what she wants to the new home can I change the locks and so only allow access to the marital home when I am available as I do not want her to be going through my belongings.

Yes, you can, although it would be a really good idea to get a divorce on file and an emergency temporary order for posession of the property, just to cover your back side, because technically as long as she owns the house with you and there are no orders to the contrary, she can have a locksmith pick and/or replace the locks too.
