Legal Question in Family Law in California
So my wife wants me to "Quit Claim" our house and pay her in spousal support the amount of the mortgage. Also there is a 28k heloc that she wants me to pay off too. If I was to Quit Claim I am still on the loan, how does that work?

It works very badly for you. Should she fail to make the payments with your support check, your credit would be ruined. If she want's the house, she needs to refinance into only her name along with title going into her name only.
