Legal Question in Family Law in California

My wife and I are separating very soon with a legal separation. We have rented a house for the last 12 years on a month to month basis. My wife has contacted our landlord asking that I be removed from the lease and only her name remain. I have many years of belongings still at the house as I just recently moved into an apartment. Because we both signed the lease is it possible I can be removed given it's a month to month lease? What about my belongings? Will I be allowed ample time to get them out? I am getting very stressed over this whole thing. Thank you

Get some orders from the court to allow you to keep your belongings at the house until such time you can relocate them and store them etc. Please meet with an experienced family law attorney to explore your options.
