Legal Question in Family Law in California

My wife and I have started the paperwork to terminate the parental rights of my step daughters biological father. He hasn't seen her in almost four years and he has never sent any child support. He found out about what we were doing and has now demanded to see her. My question is does my wife have to let him see her? She is only five years old and has no idea who he is.

If there is an existing visitation order the biological father requests to follow, your wife must comply with the order unless the order is changed to suspend visitation. Please confer with a skilled family law attorney to explore your legal options.
