Legal Question in Family Law in California

I was wondering if I could have an attorney help me with just a subpoena? I need my ex's pay stubs and he will not give them to me. I don not need to be represented I just need help with a subpoena.

You don't need a subpoena. All you have to do is send him the Form Family Law Interrogatories and check box #7. http://www.courts.ca.gov/documents/fl145.pdf If he fails or refuses to comply, then you will need an attorney to assist you.

I agree with Mr. McCormick. Subpoenas are for records that are in the possession of third parties, who are not parties to the divorce. You have the right to demand discovery of his pay stubs in his possession.
