Legal Question in Civil Litigation in California

Automobile

A mobile mechanic worked on my

car, he charged me $200 to roll my

window up and open my driver

door. I paid him but he never

finished the job. I have to hot wire

my car and he messed with the

electrical system so when I got into

a car accident my air bags didn't go

off and my horn doesn't work. I

have had my car broken into about

3 times due to my alarm system not

working and my passenger window

broken by someone breaking into

my car. I have had confindential

information stolen and my doors do

not lock.

Re: Automobile

What's a "mobile mechanic"? Somebody who drove by and offered to fix your car? Do you even know the guy's real name or address? If you do, take him to small claims court.

Re: Automobile

You should calculate all your damages, submit a demand for payment and take him to court if it's not paid.
