Legal Question in Civil Litigation in California

I got my car back from the mechanic shop only to find that the lights didnt work, the first night I tried them when the sun went down.

I had a friend look at it only to discover that all the front lightbulbs are missing!

Can I sue for this?

I was about to drive from Pasadena to Lancaster to go to a dance!

Thank God the sun went down before I left!

First things first -- get yourself new bulbs and send the mechanic a bill for the bulbs. If the mechanic doesn't pay, and it's worth it to you, you can file a small claims lawsuit.
