Legal Question in Civil Litigation in California

Civil harrassment restraining order

The wife of my daughters father has been verbally harrassing me while my daughter has been in her presence. I want to know if i would be able to get a civil harrassment restraining order on her to stay away from me and my daughter. I do have text messages from her stating that i should be afraid of her. and her husband has visitation rights with the baby. How do i prevent her from continuing with the harrassment.

A restraining order is the appropriate vehicle to get what protection the law will provide. It requires filing the required paperwork and having a court hearing. Contact me if interested in doing so.
