Legal Question in Civil Litigation in California

Could it be considered a conflict of interest in an unlawful detainer/civil matter if it is discovered that opposing counsel (in this case the petitioner) opposing counsels parents work as realtors in the same office that collects the rents of the defendent

It's unusual for the work of a lawyer's parents to create a conflict of interests for her. What's more, both the lawyer and her parents seem to be allied with the landlord in this case. I don't see how there could be a conflict. If I knew more about the case, it's possible that I would see things differently.
