Co-signer agreements

I co-signed for a former friend for a car, she has stopped paying on the car,no sinsurance and my check is getting garnished because she has not registered it for last year. What can I do to remedy this.

You will have to sue the former friend to get her to reimburse you for the amount of the judgment against you. You will then have to try to collect from her, which will probably not be easy since she probably has no assets. You should talk to an attorney to determine if the amount is worth filing a lawsuit over.
