Damaged goods, United States Post Office

Damaged goods, insured = $120. Where can I sue the US Post Office? State small claims court???

I received your post on 3-15-2001.

Unfortunatly, your only recourse is the United States District Courts (Federal court).

My suggestion is it is not worth the time and effort and expense.

The federal government is not subject to the jurisdiction of state court. You have to bring your case in federal court.
