Legal Question in Civil Litigation in California

default judgement domesticated to CA?

My question is this... I was handed a default judgement in NY. I reside in CA. They have restrained my assests ( what I had left) in NY. I understand that they can renew this 10+ 10 years. What is the law in CA for domesticating a judgement on a breech more than 4 years sgo?

Re: default judgement domesticated to CA?

It can be domesticated in California so long as the judgment is still valid in the other state.
