Legal Question in Civil Litigation in California

Gas-powered leaf blowers

The homeowners' association for the townhome we are buying has contracted with landscapers that use gas-powered leaf blowers, filling our units with fumes, covering our vehicles with debris and also using these leaf blowers on weekends which deprives us of the use of our patio area and other common areas. Is there any type of legal action that can be taken to stop the use of these leaf blowers?

Re: Gas-powered leaf blowers

You can bring a nuisance action against the homeowners association, but the better strategy is to work with them informally to resolve the issue. You could also tell the gardeners to leave when they get to your place and simply sweep the area yourself.
