Can you please give me a brief explanation of what this means. I'm in the process of filing bk and this is waht I'm noticing on my court documents online at teh court website.

You might seriously consider NOT filing your bankruptcy until you discuss with an attorney the impact of a bankruptcy on the settlement. You might be putting the settlement funds in jeopardy if you file a BK.

A conditional settlement is one in which the payout might take longer than 45 days. It often occurs when a settlement needs city council approval.
