what is a good cause to go to litigation? Can you give me a couple of examples.

Examples:

1. A zoo employee negligently fails to lock the gorilla cage and the gorilla escapes and destroys your house, Your house, unfortunately, was already riddled with termites. You tell the zoo that they must pay for your house. They say no, asserting that the damage was already done by the termites. SUE!

2. The U.S. government transmits messages out to Mars that say in Martianese "Martians suck!" Angry, an army of Martians shoot a death ray that was intended to hit a nearby army base, but accidentally gets shot into your dog kennel (your primary source of income) and disintegrates 100 English bulldogs. You cannot locate a good address to serve process on the Martians, so you decide that the U.S. government is responsible because they baited the Martians to attack. The U.S. government alleges that the Martians are fully responsible. SUE!

3. You get rearended by a truck on a cold, rainy night. You make a claim with the truck driver's insurance company. They deny your claim on the basis that your tail lights were busted before the accident. SUE!
