Incorrect Service of Summons
Hello,
A process server came to my door and asked for my roommate- I told him he's not here anymore, yet he handed me the papers and asked me to give them to him. I don't know his whereabouts and can't accept the responsibility. What should I do-return the summons and complaint to the server? He was gone before I realized the nature of the delivery.

to protect the roommate, send the documents with a letter to the court explaining your position.
